Artwork Requirements

Acceptable File Formats:

Corel Draw - .CDR files
Adobe Illustrator - .AI or .EPS
All art containing fonts, should have fonts converted to curves or outlines.
We can accept Bitmap image type files: .TIFF; .BMP; .JPEG. Only if they are monochrome and they must be a very high resolution (600dpi or greater). DO NOT SEND COLOR BITMAPS.

Please send Art Camera Ready and Separated if multiple color. Offset-No trapping or overprinting, multiple colors must be butt registered. No additional charge if this is done. Fax, photocopies, letterhead and newspaper prints are not camera ready. Art work will be enlarged or reduced at no charge at the discretion of the factory unless explicit size instructions are given with the order. Charges might be incurred for art not camera ready or requiring changes. Contact factory for more information.

Artwork is enlarged and reduced proportionately by both width and length. Therefore if you request the maximum imprint area, only one of the dimensions may be the maximum as printed in the catalog. Please request a paper proof if size is critical.

If artwork contains HALF TONES or TINTS contact the factory for more information.

Screen printing is the process for smaller quantities and the best quality image. Screened images are very sharp and crisp with good ink opacity and even the ability to over print multiple colors to solve registration problems in some art. Normal production time is 5 working days, but rush service is available at no additional charge for this process (See rush request info). One disadvantage of the screen process is multiple colors must be printed and reregistered one at a time making it more costly than offset printing.

Offset printing provides and economical way of printing larger quantities and up to 4 color imprints in one pass. Quality of offset printing is sometimes less than screen printing. Some slurring and blurring is possible. Do not expect the same clarity of print as screen printing. Please request random samples if this is a concern. Normal production time is 10 working days.

Standard: Assorted Balloons, or MIX-UR-OWN. White, Black, Pink, Orange, Standard Yellow, Canary Yellow, Orange, Starburst Orange, Red, Cherry Red, Regular Green, Emerald green, Deep Blue, Light Blue, Burgundy, Clear, Teal & Fuchsia.
Decorator: Assorted Balloons, or MIX-UR-OWN. Ivory, Golden Yellow, Lime green, Teal, Lavender, Peach & Rose.
Crystal: Assorted Balloons, or MIX-UR-OWN. Sapphire, Royal Blue, Ruby Red, Orange, Burgundy, Fuchsia, Yellow, Teal, Emerald Green, Black & White.
Pearl: Assorted Balloons, or MIX-UR-OWN. Light Blue, Lavender, Mint, Pink, Peach, Ivory, White, Yellow, Teal, Sapphire, Purple, Fuchsia, Ruby Red, Orange & Emerald Green.

* Very Important:
All Assorted mixes already come mixed. We have no control over what colors are included in the mix.
Other colors might also be included or substituted in the above mix without any further notice.
Balloon Color Chart is only for reference and not for exact color match. Actual Balloon Colors might be different than they appear on the web.
E-mail support if specific colors are to be included in your mix or to get samples prior to ordering.

Standard ink colors, No Additional cost to above prices: Black, White, Red, Blue, Green, Yellow & burgundy.

Non standard colors or PMS color to approximately match Your Company Logo Colors: $35.00 each color match.

Halftone logos, or logos with shades: Printing NOT Available on this line. Call or e-mail us for a quote on another line.

Ink color change charge for same orders: Add $20.00, for each additional Ink change.

2 Color Printing is available on the 10" & 12" Balloon sizes: Artwork must be separated 1/16 to 1/4" between colors.
There is a minimum quantity order for Multi color printing.

Custom Printed balloons Artwork Requirements
Please e-mail your logo to: SUPPORT@OBSINTL.COM. Include your name, company name or order ID.
Photo Imprint: Send us your color or b&w glossy print, not a digital image. The best results will be from a photo that is sharp and with a wide range of tones. Photo size should be at least 4" x 5".
